Tom Hatch


Tom is a relative new-comer to BMT with only having been cast in one BMT production - Les Miserables - in 2022, but it has reignited a long-buried joy within him.


Tom’s earliest venture onto the theatre stage started back in Intermediate School when he was cast as Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, so after 46 years he comes full-circle to be successful in his audition for the 2024 BMT Production of the same show.He was involved in Musical Threatre right throughout High School in shows that included both ensemble and principal roles in the productions of: South Pacific, Annie Get Your Gun, Half-a-Sixpance and Calamity Jane.


It is after a 20 year career in the RNZAF and 20 years of leading a local Church alongside his wife, Suzanne, that Tom stepped back into acting. While he has no formal professional training in Theatre and Music he has been involved in music and singing for many years where has both played (piano) and sung in such Community Events as ‘Christmas In the Park’ and in many Church Choirs and Music Teams.
