Jessie Sawers


Jessie grew up in Alexandra singing and dancing on stage and also gained many wins in local singing competitions. Moving to Blenheim in 2015, she soon immersed herself in musical theatre and joined the Ensemble in Mamma Mia. Having showcased her talent, she was soon back on stage with a wonderful performance as Eva Peron in the MGC production of Evita. Mary Poppins flew in to town at the next year and Jessie was delighted to understudy that role, delighting audiences with her performance for the matinee shows. Outside of theatre, Jessie and her dog Alpha enjoy chilling out in Jessie's first home, doing reno projects and cooking up a store in the kitchen!
